Wee Waa Public School cricket team

Yesterday our girls PSSA cricket team took on Narrabri West Public School at Narrabri in Round 1 of the knockout competition.

Our team won the toss and elected to bat. Imalia, Bree, Dymatye, Savanah and Lily all batted very well and kept the scoreboard ticking over. The running between wickets was a highlight and we managed a healthy total of 170 off 25 overs.

The girls bowled and fielded with confidence, restricting the opposition from scoring freely.

Amy, Payton, Ruby and Taylor all took wickets. Tara and Maecee were very sharp in their fielding and Lexie showed great skill as wicket keeper.
Narrabri West fought well but were all out for 101.

Congratulations to the WWPS team on this convincing win. Details of our next game will be available shortly.
